As NEC gear up for the new campaign, the team is determined to break their winless streak against Vipers.

Despite having faced the Venoms four times in the past, with one loss and three draws, NEC are confident of securing their first-ever victory.

Under the tactical guidance of Head Coach Hussein Mbalangu, NEC have strengthened their squad for the season.

Key players like Cromwell Rwothomio, Niwamanya Dickson, Dudu Bosco, James Odoch, and Uganda’s youngest goalkeeping coach, Byuma Muwada, are expected to play pivotal roles in the team’s success.

NEC’s ambition for the season extends beyond just defeating Vipers. The club who finished as runners up in the Stanbic Uganda Cup will aim to make a significant impact in the league and compete for top honors.

The players have been in camp undergoing intensive training and preparation after their participation in the FUFA Super 8.

The club has also announced that tickets for the match will be priced at UGX 10,000 for Standard and UGX 50,000 for VIP.
