QC Mbarara and Fiyore Sports Club emerged victorious in their respective matches on Friday evening at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena, booking their spots in the final qualification round for a place in the round of 16 of the Futsal Uganda Cup.
QC Mbarara dominated Lamansia with a convincing 8-3 victory in their first official futsal match. Idi Babu, Vincent Abigaba, Kenneth Majara, and Derick Mubiru each scored twice for the Mbarara-based side.
Meanwhile, Fiyore Sports Club secured a hard-fought 2-0 win against Kabowa Dream Team in the second half of their match. Abdiweli Sabca and Mohammed Gaabow netted the crucial goals for the Somali side.
QC and Fiyore will now battle for the final spot in the round of 16 next Friday at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.
Defending champions Park FC and 14 other teams have already secured their places in the round of 16.
