The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has extended its warmest congratulations to the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) on the occasion of its 100th anniversary.
In a letter addressed to FUFA, CAF praised the association’s enduring passion, dedication, and commitment to the beautiful game over the past century.
“For a hundred years, FUFA has played a pivotal role in promoting and nurturing football talent across the nation,” stated CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba and Director of Member Associations Sarah Mukuna in their letter.
“Your efforts have not only elevated the sport within Uganda but have also brought the nation together in celebration of shared victories and cherished memories.”
CAF acknowledged the countless players, coaches, and officials who have contributed to the growth and success of Ugandan football.
As FUFA celebrates its centenary, CAF expressed its hope that the association will continue to inspire and develop football in Uganda, fostering a spirit of unity and sportsmanship.
“Here’s to many more years of success, growth, and unforgettable moments in Ugandan football,” the letter concluded.
