Two key officials from KCCA, Board Treasurer Ivan Kiirya and Manager Administration & Operations Ssekiti Moses Kaddu, recently participated in a prestigious seminar on sports facility management and sustainability in Beijing, China.
The seminar, attended by representatives from eight developing countries, focused on modern trends in financing and maintaining sports infrastructure.
The event was fully funded by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by the Academy for International Business Officials and China Sports International Corporation Ltd.
KCCA expressed gratitude to the Ugandan government, including the Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development, Ministry of Education & Sports, National Council of Sports, and the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, for their efforts in fostering international sports relations and promoting the development of sports in the country.
The club emphasized that their participation in the seminar aligns with their commitment to going “Beyond The Game” and actively contributing to the growth and improvement of sports infrastructure in Uganda.
The knowledge and insights gained from the event will undoubtedly be valuable in enhancing KCCA’s own facilities and operations.
