Kayondo Opens Account in Style for Liberec

Uganda Cranes defender Aziz Kayondo made headlines by scoring a stunning goal for Slovan Liberec in their emphatic 4-0 victory over 10-man Slovacko in the Czech Republic’s Chance Liga on Saturday.

Playing at Stadion U Nisy, Kayondo’s impressive strike marked his first goal for the club and highlighted his growing influence on the team.

The match started with Santiago Emene opening the scoring just 15 minutes in.

Slovacko’s fortunes took a turn for the worse when Stanislav Hofmann was sent off in the 30th minute, leaving his side a man down.

Capitalizing on their numerical advantage, Liberec quickly extended their lead.

Ivan Varfolomenev found the net in the 37th minute, followed by Lubomir Tupta converting a penalty just before halftime, making it 3-0.

Kayondo capped the scoring in the second half with a beautifully executed goal, further establishing himself as a key player for Liberec.

This season, the 22-year-old has made a significant impact, contributing one goal and one assist in 11 appearances.

His consistent performances have also secured him a vital role in the Uganda Cranes’ defence.

After 12 matches, Kayondo’s Liberec sits in ninth place in the 16-team league table with 15 points.
