With just days to go before the highly anticipated Masaza Cup final, excitement is building across Buganda Kingdom.
The clash between Buddu and Kyaggwe, scheduled for November 2nd at Namboole Stadium, promises to be a thrilling spectacle.
To ensure a smooth and memorable event, the Minister for Sports in Buganda, Owek Robert Sserwanga, recently conducted a final inspection of the stadium.
Accompanied by the Masaza Cup committee, he was given a tour of the venue by Hajji Ali Ssewanyana, the stadium manager.
“We’re here to make the best possible preparations for our teams who have reached the pinnacle of this tournament,” Owek Sserwanga remarked. “We’ve carefully assessed the venue, particularly the area designated for the award ceremony.”
A notable feature of this year’s final is the absence of on ground ticket sales. This decision aims to streamline the entry process and enhance the overall fan experience.
Buddu, a seasoned contender, will be making their seventh appearance in the final.
While they have secured the trophy twice in the past, Kyaggwe is set to make their debut at this stage.
As the countdown continues, fans from both counties are eagerly anticipating a thrilling showdown.
