Following five managerial movements in the Uganda Premier League after six games, the first has happened in Women Super League.
Kampala Queens have witnessed the first managerial departure of the 2024/25 Finance Trust Bank Women’s Super League season, as head coach Charles Ayiekoh steps down.
This marks a significant shift for the former league champions, who have experienced a challenging start, sitting in fourth place with only one win from their first four matches.
Ayiekoh’s departure, initially reported by Swift Sports, hints at his potential move to FUFA Big League side Busoga United, a team he previously managed.
His resignation follows a series of managerial changes seen in the men’s Uganda Premier League this season.
With six points from four games, Kampala Queens’ season under Ayiekoh saw only one victory, two draws, and one loss.
Their next match, against the newly promoted Amus College on Saturday at Lugogo, will be their first game under a new coaching setup.
