Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has expressed serious concerns over the Gunners’ Premier League title aspirations following their recent defeats to Newcastle United and Inter Milan.
The former Arsenal striker believes the team’s away form, particularly, is a major cause for worry.
Henry questioned Arsenal’s approach during their midweek Champions League loss to Inter Milan, suggesting they lacked the necessary aggression to break down a stubborn Italian defense.
He emphasized that the team’s reliance on dominating possession without capitalizing on chances could prove costly.
The former French international highlighted the importance of the upcoming clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. A defeat to their London rivals could significantly derail Arsenal’s title hopes.
“If we lose to Chelsea, it will be extremely difficult,” Henry stated. “We have too many teams to catch. One or two teams, like Liverpool and Man City, are not going to collapse.”
Henry’s comments reflect a growing sense of pessimism among Arsenal fans. The team’s recent struggles have raised questions about their ability to sustain a title challenge, especially considering the strong performances of Liverpool and Manchester City.
