The St. Lawrence League concluded in a nail-biting final match on Sunday November 10, with Bafudde FC emerging victorious as champions.
Despite suffering a 1-0 defeat to Vandals FC in their final game, Bafudde’s consistent dominance throughout the season secured them the top spot with 19 points.
Dream Team FC finished a close second with 17 points, showcasing their own impressive performance.
The league’s chairman, Davi Kiwanuka, praised the efforts of all participating teams, highlighting the spirit of brotherhood and sportsmanship.
He also expressed gratitude to Guinness, the league’s sponsor, for their invaluable support in elevating the tournament’s prestige.
