The Uganda Women’s National Team, the Crested Cranes touched down in Algeria on Sunday to commence their international friendly matches against the Algerian national team.
The team arrived on Sunday, November 24th, and immediately embarked on their preparations.
Yesterday, Monday, November 25th, the Crested Cranes held their first training session in Algeria.
The session was focused on acclimatizing to the local conditions and fine-tuning their tactics ahead of the upcoming matches.
The Crested Cranes are scheduled to face Algeria on November 27th and 30th, 2024.
These matches provide a valuable opportunity for the team to gain international experience and further develop their skills.
Speaking earlier this month, FUFA President Moses Magogo said more such friendlies would be organised for the Crested Cranes to develop the team and improve their chances of competing at continental and international tournaments.
