State Minister for Education and Sports, Peter Ogwang, emphasized the government’s commitment to transparency and timely delivery of infrastructure.

He assured the meeting that all necessary facilities would be ready by February 1, 2025, the start date for the CHAN tournament.

Dr. Denis Mugimba, Head of Communication and Signage on the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), confirmed that the government has released funds to support preparations. This timely financial injection is crucial for the successful execution of both tournaments.

Moses Hassim Magogo, FUFA President and Vice Chairperson of the LOC, expressed confidence in Uganda’s ability to meet international standards.

He highlighted the committee’s dedication to ensuring a world-class experience for players, officials, and fans.
