Uganda’s Parliament has announced its football team for the 14th East African Community (EAC) Inter-Parliamentary Games, set to take place in Mombasa, Kenya, from December 6 to 18, 2024.
The delegation, which includes legislators across various positions, will represent the country in football as part of the multi-sport event that brings together lawmakers from across the region.
The 26-member football squad, led by coach Tom Lwanga features some key legislators in the sports sector including FUFA President Hon. Moses Magogo and State Minister for Sports Hon. Peter Ogwang.
The Chairperson of the Parliamentary Sports Club, Hon. Asuman Basalirwa said Team Uganda was well prepared to defend their title.
