Coach Put emphasized the importance of the upcoming game against Burundi, stating, “This game is crucial as it allows us to assess the team and build momentum ahead of the CHAN tournament.”

The training focused on recovery for players who had competed in matches with their respective clubs the previous day.

Coach Put highlighted the need for both new and returning players to adapt to his coaching style. He reiterated the seriousness of the Burundi game, emphasizing its significance in preparing the team for the challenging CHAN tournament, which Uganda will host in February 2025.

Player Milton Karisa expressed his enthusiasm about returning to the national team, stating, “It feels great to be back with the Cranes. I am eager to represent my country and deliver a strong performance. The Burundi game will provide valuable insight into our readiness for the final tournament.”
