Police Football Club has officially signed a three-year partnership with Mafro Sports, naming the Singapore-based sportswear brand as its official kit supplier for the 2024/25 season and beyond.
The agreement was unveiled in a grand ceremony at the Police headquarters in Naguru on Friday January 17.
The deal ensures that Police players will don Mafro-designed kits for the next three seasons, with the first batch of jerseys, including both player and replica versions, expected to arrive in time for the second half of the season.
Speaking at the unveiling, Mahmoud Gomda, CEO of Mafro Sports, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to supporting the club.
“We are committed to providing high-quality kits and working closely with Police FC to enhance their performance on and off the field,” Gomda stated.
SCP Halango Timothy, Chairman of Police FC, emphasized the broader impact of the partnership, highlighting its role in youth talent development and community engagement.
“This partnership is not just about football. It will help us foster youth talent, contribute to crime prevention through sports, and improve the livelihoods of our community,” Halango noted.
The deal is expected to boost the club’s image and attract more fans, with replica jerseys offering an opportunity for supporters to connect with their team.
With Mafro’s growing presence in African sports, this partnership represents another step forward in the brand’s mission to support grassroots sports development while strengthening its network across the continent.
