BUL to Relocate Again Ahead of 2024/25 Second Round

BUL Football Club have announced their decision to move away from Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe as their home venue.

The club, which had relocated to Lugazi at the start of the season following the need for renovations at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, confirmed the development in a statement released on Friday, January 24.

The statement reads: “As we prepare for the second round of the season, we want to inform you that we will NOT be playing our home games at the Lugazi Stadium. We are currently exploring alternative venues in Jinja or Njeru, and we will keep you updated on our new home ground for the second round. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to secure a new venue. We’ll keep you posted on any updates! Thank you for your continued support.”

BUL’s time at Lugazi Stadium in the first round of the 2024/25 season saw them endure mixed fortunes.

In seven matches played at the venue, the team managed just one win, drawing four times and losing twice. Their sole victory came against Bright Stars.

The club is now exploring options closer to its roots in Jinja or Njeru, aiming to finalize a decision before the second round kicks off.
