Arsenal are set to open new contract discussions with star winger Bukayo Saka, with recently appointed sporting director Andrea Berta overseeing the process.
Saka’s current deal, signed in 2022, runs until 2027 and ensures the 23-year-old earns £195,000 per week, amounting to at least £10 million per season.
The England international has been sidelined throughout 2025 so far due to a hamstring injury, a significant setback for the Gunners.
His absence has coincided with a dip in form for Mikel Arteta’s side, as they’ve struggled to maintain momentum in front of goal and have seen their Premier League title aspirations diminish.
Renowned transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal aims to remove any doubts surrounding Saka’s long-term future by offering him an improved contract.
In addition to Saka, Berta will also lead discussions with other key players such as William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Leandro Trossard, as Arsenal seeks to secure the core of their squad.
Arsenal will return to Premier League action this Saturday, hosting Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.
