Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed concerns over internal leaks at the club, which he says have undermined preparations throughout the season.
Speaking on Friday, Postecoglou highlighted an incident involving winger Wilson Odobert ahead of Thursday’s 1-1 Europa League draw against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Online speculation suggested the 20-year-old Frenchman would miss the match, yet he was named in the squad—although he remained an unused substitute.
Postecoglou expressed frustration over the leaks, saying, “There is no doubt we’ve got a leak inside the club. Someone continues to leak out information and they have all year. It makes our job even more difficult.”
While Postecoglou has narrowed down the source, he admitted the leaks impact game-day strategies. “It’s sometimes half-truths and sometimes more,” he added. “You’d like to think that everyone within our camp is working with us rather than against us.”
Despite off-pitch distractions, Spurs are aiming to continue their momentum after last weekend’s 3-1 victory over Southampton ended a four-game winless streak in the Premier League.
Currently sitting 14th in the table with 37 points from 31 games, Postecoglou’s side faces Wolverhampton on Sunday in pursuit of a stronger finish to the season.
