Barcelona manager Hansi Flick believes their Copa del Rey victory over Real Madrid will fuel, not hinder, their Champions League semifinal clash against Inter Milan on Wednesday.
“This win against Real is very important for the positive vibes, and it could push you also,” Flick told reporters, dismissing concerns about complacency.
He acknowledged Inter’s determination, stating it could be a “last opportunity” for some of their players to reach a final.
Flick will assess player recovery after the extra-time thriller but confirmed Wojciech Szczesny will remain his Champions League goalkeeper.
Despite Inter’s recent losses, Flick is wary. “The Champions League is also for Inter a big chance to win a title,” he said, focusing solely on the upcoming tie.
