Serena Williams will partner Karolina Muchova at the Berlin Open as her comeback gathers pace.
The 44‑year‑old returned at Queen’s after nearly four years out, winning her opening doubles match with Victoria Mboko before withdrawing when Mboko injured her knee.

Muchova, ranked No. 10 and twice a Wimbledon quarter‑finalist, said she was “pretty excited” to play alongside the 23‑time Grand Slam champion.
Mboko has been ruled out of the grass‑court season, including Wimbledon, with a torn MCL. She praised Williams, saying she hoped they could play together again in the future.
