The vibrant spirit of unity and cultural heritage was on full display as the highly anticipated Buganda Bika Football Tournament was officially launched at Wankulukuku Stadium, drawing participation from clans across the Kingdom.
The opening ceremony, graced by the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, marked the formal commencement of the tournament with thrilling football action between the Kabazzi descendants of the Kasimba clan and the Ennyunga clan.
The event drew a massive crowd, including clan elders, youth, cultural leaders, and enthusiastic supporters.
During his address, Mayiga called on all Baganda from various clans to actively support the tournament financially and logistically, stressing that such support is essential for the tournament’s long-term success and sustainability.
