Norway has all but qualified for their first World Cup in 28 years after doubles from Erling Haaland and Alexander Sørloth secured a comfortable 4-1 victory against Estonia on Thursday.
Despite a scoreless first half at Ullevaal Stadion, Sørloth broke the deadlock with two quick headers (50′, 52′).
Manchester City star Haaland then sealed the win with a brace of his own (56′, 62′) before Robi Saarma scored a consolation goal for Estonia (64′).
The 4-1 result gives Norway a massive goal difference advantage and a three-point lead over second-placed Italy in Group I with one game remaining, making qualification for the finals, last achieved in 1998, virtually certain.
