Glasner Hits Back: ‘Stay Humble’ Amid Sacking Rumors

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has issued a defiant “stay humble” message to supporters calling for his dismissal following a dismal run of one win in 15 matches.

Despite leading the Eagles to a historic 2025 FA Cup title and the Community Shield, the 51-year-old faced chants of “we want Glasner out” during Thursday’s 1-1 draw at Zrinjski Mostar.

Glasner has already confirmed he will leave Selhurst Park when his contract expires this summer, but mounting pressure has put his immediate future in doubt.

“A few who are so critical in this situation are not humble anymore,” Glasner said. “Never forget where you’re coming from. Usually in life, you are punished for this.”

Glasner suggested he turned down jobs at Manchester United and Tottenham to remain at Palace.

The Austrian admitted he has “not been good enough” to integrate new signings after selling key stars.

Despite current form, Glasner reminded fans he delivered the club’s best-ever season and two trophies.

Palace host bottom-of-the-table Wolves on Sunday. With no home win since November, another slip-up could see the most successful manager in the club’s history sacked before his planned summer exit.
