South Korea has unveiled plans to revive Formula One by building a five‑kilometre street circuit in Incheon, aiming to host its first race since 2013.
Officials hope to attract 400,000 visitors and stage the inaugural event in 2028, blending motorsport with K‑culture through concerts and performances.
The Korean Grand Prix previously ran at Yeongam but was dropped after three years due to costs and low interest.
Any comeback will require government approval, a promoter, and a slot in F1’s crowded calendar.
