Coventry chairman Doug King has urged fans not to worry about speculation linking Frank Lampard with a return to Chelsea.
Lampard, who led the Sky Blues to the Championship title and a Premier League return after 25 years, has been tipped for Stamford Bridge following Liam Rosenior’s exit. But King insists the coach is “in a happy place” and emotionally connected to Coventry.

He stressed the club has been planning for top‑flight football since October, warning against “throwing zillions” at transfers.
A bus parade is set for 4 May, though King promised no let‑up against play‑off hopefuls Wrexham this weekend.
