Transport along the busy Jinja–Iganga highway was brought to a standstill as hundreds of supporters of Arsenal staged a jubilant trophy parade to celebrate the club’s 2025/26 Premier League triumph.
The excited fans, carrying a replica of the league trophy, moved in a colourful convoy from Bugembe to Jinja City Centre, chanting, dancing and waving club flags as they created a carnival-like atmosphere that drew large roadside crowds and disrupted mid-morning traffic.
