Proline FC has received a major boost after elders, former players, supporters, well-wishers, and friends of the club came together to hand over a brand-new 28-seater coaster valued at UGX 160 million.
The donation marks a significant step in strengthening the club’s operations and reflects the enduring bond between Proline FC and the many individuals whose lives have been shaped by its rich football heritage.
The handover ceremony was filled with unity and shared purpose, as different generations of the Proline family—former players, club leaders, supporters, and partners—gathered to celebrate what many described as a milestone rooted in strong community values and collective ambition.
For decades, Proline has played a central role in nurturing football talent in Uganda, producing players who have excelled locally and internationally. The latest gesture underscores stakeholders’ determination to see the club thrive and remain competitive both on and off the pitch.
In addition to the team bus, stakeholders pledged UGX 36 million in seed funding toward a long-term vision of securing land for a permanent home ground. The project is expected to provide Proline with a stable base for training, player development, and future expansion, while reinforcing the club’s identity and sustainability.
Club officials welcomed the support, calling it a significant step toward achieving strategic goals that will benefit current and future generations of players.
The twin initiatives—the acquisition of the bus and the fundraising drive for a permanent home ground—signal growing confidence in the club’s future and highlight the wider Proline community’s willingness to invest in its success.
As Proline continues its journey, these contributions serve as a powerful reminder that the club’s greatest strength lies not only in its performances on the field but also in the loyalty, generosity, and shared vision of those who proudly call themselves part of the Proline family.
