Patrick Kaddu has returned to Uganda Cup defending champions, Kitara Football Club after a stint in Gor Mahia, the Kenyan Premier League giants.
The talented attacker has signed a season-long deal, reuniting him with the club where he once made a significant impact.
Kaddu’s impressive form saw him net an astonishing 15 goals in the first round of the FUFA Big League and this played a pivotal role in the Royals’ promotion to the top flight.
Now, Kaddu’s return is expected to provide a major boost to Kitara’s ambitions. He will join forces with Denis Omedi, Fred Amaku, and George Senkaaba to form a formidable attacking quartet.
Expressing his excitement about rejoining the club, Kaddu stated, “I’m thrilled to be back at Kitara. The club has made remarkable strides since I left, and I’m eager to contribute to their continued success. From the passionate fans to the improved facilities, it’s clear that Kitara is on the right track.”
Kaddu’s career has seen him don the jerseys of several prominent clubs, including KCCA, Kira Young, Gor Mahia, Maroons, Ismaily SC of Egypt, and Moroccan outfits RS Berkane and Youssoufia Berrechid.
The timing of Kaddu’s return couldn’t be more perfect as Kitara prepares to face his former club, KCCA, in a highly anticipated clash on Friday at the Philip Omondi stadium in Lugogo.
