Plascon Uganda Pledges 100M Package to Support Uganda’s She Cranes at Netball World Cup 2023

In a thrilling announcement, Plascon Uganda has declared its unwavering support for the Uganda Netball National Team, fondly known as the She Cranes, as they gear up for the highly anticipated Netball World Cup 2023. The team is set to showcase their exceptional skills and determination from July 28 to August 6 in Cape Town, South Africa. Plascon Uganda has renewed its commitment by offering a remarkable UGX 100M sponsorship package, demonstrating their dedication to uplifting Ugandan netball.

Francis Banya, the esteemed CEO of the Uganda Netball Federation, expressed his gratitude to Plascon Uganda for their invaluable support. He reminisced about the previous year when the team was preparing for the Commonwealth Games, and Plascon came forward with tangible assistance. The girls embraced this gesture wholeheartedly, resulting in an outstanding performance at the games. Banya firmly believes that the upcoming Netball World Cup will be no exception. Adrian, the Brand Manager of Plascon Uganda, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming journey. “Through our collaborative efforts with the She Cranes, we aim to foster a sense of unity and national pride,” he declared. Adrian’s passion for the sport and belief in the team’s potential were evident in his spirited remarks. With Plascon Uganda’s robust support and the unwavering dedication of the fans, the She Cranes are poised to make history at the Netball World Cup 2023.
