The Junior Silverbacks will mark their second ever appearance at the FIBA U16 African championships due 13-23 July in Monastir, Tunisia. The 12-team tournament will double as a qualifier for the 2024 FIBA U17 world championship in the United States with the top two teams set to qualify.
