During the fifth week of the Uganda Boxing Champions League, fans were treated to an electrifying demonstration of skill and determination. The high-stakes matches held that evening had spectators at the edge of their seats, providing an unforgettable experience filled with excitement and anticipation.

The electrifying clash between Mulungi Khassim and Kimuli Henry left the fans on the edge of their seats, completely captivated by the enthralling display of skill and determination. Mulungi Khassim emerged victorious, securing a resounding victory over his opponent in the Elite 57kgs category. The fight reached its dramatic conclusion in the fourth round when Kimuli Henry’s trainer, overwhelmed by the relentless onslaught, threw in the towel, conceding defeat.

Mulungi Khassim’s performance was nothing short of spectacular, leaving spectators in awe of his prowess and agility in the ring. The crowd was left astounded by the manner in which he managed to knock down his opponent, showcasing his exceptional boxing skills and strategic precision.

The Youth 57Kgs category showcased the incredible talent of Kemis Ibrahim, whose exceptional performance led him to secure a hard-fought 3:2 split decision win against the formidable Muluya Speare. The audience was treated to an exhilarating display of speed, technique, and unwavering determination as these two promising fighters pushed themselves to their limits.

The evening’s excitement continued with the Special contest fight between Lusojo Shafick and Japyem James, which unfolded in a captivating 3:2 split decision in favor of Lusojo Shafick. The audience was thoroughly entertained as these two dynamic fighters engaged in a fierce battle, exchanging blows and displaying their incredible resilience.

In the Junior 57Kgs Class, Luo Emma showcased his exceptional boxing skills, outclassing his opponent Mwagazi Ivan in a unanimous 4:1 split decision. The spectators were treated to a masterful display of technique and finesse as Luo Emma dominated the ring, leaving no doubt about his superiority.

Nsubuga Samuel became the star of the Junior 50Kgs category, putting on a thrilling performance that ended with the referee stopping the contest in the first round against his opponent Muwanguzi Jovan. Nsubuga Samuel’s dynamic style and relentless attacks overwhelmed Muwanguzi Jovan, securing him a well-deserved victory and leaving the audience in awe.

The Junior 52Kgs category witnessed a fierce showdown between Mutambi Timothy and Onyango Hashim, with Mutambi Timothy emerging triumphant in a closely contested 4:1 split decision. The crowd erupted in excitement as these two skillful fighters clashed in an intense battle of strength and strategy.

Lukomwa Rashid, a rising star in the Junior 67Kgs class, showcased his remarkable talent and versatility in a commanding performance against Buule Christopher. The judges were unanimous in their decision, awarding Lukomwa Rashid a resounding 5:0 victory, much to the delight of the cheering crowd.

The Elite 71Kgs class culminated in an epic clash between Kasujja Richard and Mawanda Depark. In a battle of determination and skill, Kasujja Richard emerged victorious, securing a hard-fought 3:2 split decision win. The audience was enthralled by the back-and-forth action and the sheer determination displayed by both fighters throughout the match.

The entire evening was an electrifying display of tremendous boxing talent, chock full of dramatic incidents and unforgettable performances. Due to the fighters’ commitment, fervor, and outsized personalities, the event was transformed into a spectacle that left the audience wanting more.

Game week six also promises more exciting action at Club Obligato on the 15th of July, featuring main fights featuring Matovu Ukasha from Cobap Boxing Club up against Sande Simon of the Nansana Boxing Club in the elite 67 kg category, plus many more exciting fights lined up for the night.
