In a significant move, Vipers Sports Club has named Brazilian Leonard Martins Neiva, widely known as Léo Neiva, as their new head coach, succeeding the departed Alex Isabirye. The club has signed him on a two-year contract that commenced immediately and will run until 2025.
Léo Neiva, born on December 10, 1977, in Rio de Janeiro, is an accomplished football coach holding a Pro License. Prior to his new role at Vipers, he showcased his coaching prowess by leading the Saint Kitts and Nevis national team, affiliated with CONCACAF, to a historic second-round qualification in the Qatar World Cup Qualifiers.
His appointment comes after Coach Alex Isabirye’s successful stint with Vipers Sports Club, which culminated in the club’s first-ever double.
