NBS Sport’s Jermaine Egesa was honored this week for his contributions to the Ugandan sports industry during the 7th APL Awards. These awards were initiated by the late Andrew Patrick Luwandaga, a budding commentator and sportscaster who served as an inspiration to many sports commentators today. Jermaine, who also serves as a show host on the BEATSNBALLs show, received the APL Mentorship Award at the 7th edition of the awards.
Jermaine, known for his commentary in the National Basketball League and the Startimes Uganda Premier League, expressed his gratitude on social media, acknowledging the teamwork that helped him achieve this milestone.
Sometimes words take flight
And only gratitude remains.
Grateful for the those that have shared this path.
Gratitude for an extraordinary team that I work with now.
For all the prayers that have led us here
And to the Almighty for the gift of talent and life#UnerringlyGrateful pic.twitter.com/3t8IUWGjv4— Jermaine Egesa (@jermaine_egesa) September 14, 2023
