KCCA FC touched down in Tunisia ahead of CAF game

KCCA FC embarked on journey as they left Uganda yesterday bound for Tunisia, where they are set to face off against Libya’s Abu Salim in the CAF game. The team’s journey was made possible by Fly Emirates, with a brief stopover in Dubai before reaching their final destination.

Having Touched down in Tunis, on Sunday, September 17th KCCA FC is all set to make their mark at the Stade Olympique de Rades. The second leg of this encounter will follow just three days later, on September 30th, at St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
KCCA FC Head Coach Sergio Daniel speaking to the media today ahead of our CAF Confederation Cup game stated that “We’re ready and motivated.”

The journey to Tunisia saw KCCA FC travel with a formidable 20-man squad, ready to take on the challenge of the second preliminary round. This remarkable opportunity came as a result of KCCA FC’s exceptional track record in CAF competitions, particularly their impressive performances in the Confederation Cup and Champions League group stage games in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
