The StarTimes Uganda Premier League resumes today with two matches on the schedule. KCCA FC is hosting Maroons FC in a night event broadcast live on Sanyuka Prime, while Vipers SC is visiting Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium. According to Sergio Traguil, Mustafa Kizza may have his third debut for the club against Maroons. The Uganda Premier League secretariat has also confirmed that the previously rescheduled fixture between Express and KCCA FC, caused by KCCA FC’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup, will now take place on Sunday, October 8th, at Lugogo
KCCA FC rivals Vipers SC will be missing Erick Kenzo Kambale due to fitness issues and defender Hilary Mukundane due to injury. On a positive note, Allan Okello, a new signing for Vipers SC, won’t require knee surgery as scans reveal that his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and meniscus are in good condition. There are only some cartilage wounds that are being treated. Allan Okello is set to make his debut for Vipers SC in February next year.
