Morley Byekwaso Leads Interim Technical Team for Uganda Cranes

FUFA has appointed a temporary Technical Team consisting of four members to oversee operations for a one-month interim period, spanning from October 3rd to October 31st, 2023.

The team comprises the following individuals:

  1. Morley Byekwaso Ochama – Acting Head Coach
  2. Fred Muhumuza – Acting Assistant Coach
  3. Stephen Billy Kiggundu – Acting Goalkeeping Coach
  4. Felix Ayobo – Acting Fitness Coach

During this period, this quartet will assume leadership of the Uganda Cranes, who are set to participate in two international matches. These games will see Uganda Cranes face Mali on October 13th in Bamako and Zambia in Dubai, UAE on October 17th, 2023.

Furthermore, the interim technical team will also announce the Uganda Cranes squad for these two international fixtures today. Notably, Morley Byekwaso Ochama, the former manager of KCCA FC, stepped down from his position at MTN Omondi in the wake of the team’s elimination from the Stanbic Uganda Cup by Soltilo Bright Stars last season. In the current season, he served as an assistant manager with SC Villa
