The Uganda Hockey Association has announced its plans to hold the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting, which will review reports from 2023 will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024.
The AGM will address various key agenda items including the presentations of reports from the Chairman, Treasurer, and Independent Auditor. Additionally, members will review and adopt the minutes of the 2023 AGM and approve the association’s budget for the upcoming year.
In 2023, the Association successfully organised the National Hockey League which was won by the Kampala Hockey Swans.
The men’s national hockey team, the Hockey Cranes also participated in the Olympic qualifiers, finishing fourth. These are just a few of the activities whose performance the Association will review at the AGM.
The Uganda Hockey Association will be hoping for a bigger 2024 starting with the Memorial Shield on Sunday, March 3.
