Uganda’s U20 Women’s National Team the Queen Cranes’ Head Coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda has revealed the final squad for their inaugural appearance at the All Africa Games. The games will kick off in Accra, Ghana, from March 8th to 23rd, 2024. 

Having secured a spot among the top eight teams in the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, the Queen Cranes are eager to make a mark on the continental stage.

Uganda Martyrs Win as Kawempe Held in Women Super League Second Round Opener

They are placed in Group A alongside hosts Ghana, Tanzania, and Ethiopia.

The Queen Cranes start their journey on March 9th with a clash against neighbours Tanzania, followed by matches against Ethiopia and hosts Ghana on March 12th and 15th, respectively.

The team, led by FUFA Executive Committee Member Dan Obote, departs for Ghana on Wednesday morning aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
