Kitara striker Denis Omedi and Coach Brian Ssenyondo are the favorites to clinch the Pilsner player and coach of the month of February awards following their nominations. Omedi, who managed five goals including a hat trick against UPDF in four games and one man of the match between match day 16 and 19, battles with Express fc’s Isaac Wagoina who has two goals and an assist as well as SC Villa’s Patrick Kakande who scored thrice in two games.
In the same way, Ssenyondo battles URA FC’s David Obua and NEC FC’s Hussein Mbalangu for the coach of the month gong. Senyondo who won the September/October gong guided Kitara to 10 points out of the possible 12 while Obua and Mbalangu managed nine and seven points respectively.
