Looking ahead, the Ugandan squad is set to face off against Mexico later on Friday, March 8th, with their sights firmly set on clinching another victory. A win against Mexico would not only further solidify their standing in the tournament but also ensure their progression to the quarterfinals, a significant milestone in their pursuit of glory.

For the Lady Cranes, the stakes are high as they gear up to take on Argentina in their upcoming match on Saturday. With aspirations of securing a spot in the prestigious HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, the Ugandan team understands the importance of every game in this fiercely competitive tournament.

Qualifying for the series would not only provide them with invaluable exposure but also present them with unparalleled opportunities to test their mettle against the world’s elite sevens rugby teams.

As the competition unfolds in Montevideo, all eyes are on the Lady Rugby Cranes as they continue their quest for victory.
