Showtymers Cohort 2006 Seize Glory in KOSA League Season Three Finale

The cheers echoed across Kibuli Secondary School as Showtymers Cohort 2006 clinched their first-ever title as champions in the KOSA League Season Three grand finale. The league, born in 2021, has become a hub for alumni to bond over football, uniting generations of old students.

Hassan Hood Ssekatawa, Chairman of the KOSA League, highlighted the league’s importance, emphasizing the six months of intense competition that brought the Kibuli community together.

“The KOSA League isn’t just about football; it’s about fostering bonds that transcend time and space, uniting us in the spirit of our alma mater,” he said.

Chris Tinka, the mastermind behind Showtymers, revealed the winning strategy that led his team to victory, showcasing meticulous planning and dedication.

“Victory isn’t just about scoring goals; it’s about the countless hours of planning, dedication, and teamwork that pave the way to success,” he said.

Captain Ahmed Mabirizi shared his pride in leading Showtymers to victory, reflecting the team’s hard work and determination.

“Leading Showtymers to victory fills me with immense pride. It’s a testament to the unwavering spirit of our team and the belief that hard work always pays off,” he said.

On the losing side, Ssebudde Edrisa, captain of 4z Tazz, gracefully accepted defeat and hinted at his team’s resilience moving forward.

“While defeat is never easy, it’s a reminder of the resilience within us. We’ll regroup, learn from this experience, and come back stronger in the next season,” he said.

Despite the thrilling 1-1 draw, Showtymers emerged triumphant on account topping the KOSA League table over the course of the season.
