BUL FC Braces for UPDF FC Battle: Can They Hold Ground?

The Startimes Uganda Premier League continues with Match-day 21 action as BUL Football Club take on UPDF Football Club on Tuesday, March 12th, at the FUFA Technical Centre.

In their last encounter in Bombo, UPDF FC won 2-0, with Bernard Muwanga and Sam Kintu scoring.

Currently, BUL FC sit second on the table with 39 points from 19 matches, just one point behind Kitara FC, who have played an extra game. UPDF FC, however, are struggling in 15th place with only 13 points from 20 matches.

UPDF FC broke a 12-game winless streak with a crucial 2-0 victory over Busoga United in their last league game. BUL FC comes into this fixture after a 1-1 draw with URA FC and will be looking to get back to winning ways.

BUL FC have the upper hand in their history, winning five out of their last nine meetings with UPDF FC, drawing two and losing two. Moreover, in the four matches hosted by BUL FC, they have won every time.

The Jinja Bulls are still unbeaten at home this season, having won six of their 8 games, drawing 2.

On the other hand, the Army Side has struggled on the road this season, having won only one away game out of 10, scoring only 7 goals while conceding 20.

A win for BUL FC in this fixture would see them back at the top of the league standings.

Fans can watch the live action on Sanyuka Prime at 4:00 PM.
