The journey to the playoffs saw Uganda triumph over Hong Kong in the quaterfinals with a close score of 22-17, securing a spot in the semifinals. However, their quest for the title was halted by China, who emerged victorious with a score of 26-10.

China’s dominance in the series was evident, as they clinched victory in both the Montevideo and previous Dubai tournaments. With this win, China solidified their position as the leading team in the HSBC Challenger Series.

The Lady Cranes currently hold the fourth position in the overall series rankings, trailing behind China, Belgium, and Argentina.

Looking ahead, the next HSBC Challenger Series is scheduled to return in April at Hong Kong. The Lady Cranes will have another opportunity to showcase their skills and aim for a higher position in the rankings.
