From Kigali to Kings Park Arena

The Ntare League this year did something new. They held the finals in Kigali, Rwanda. This is interesting because Rwanda has many former students from Ntare, including their president, Paul Kagame.

Lots of sports fans and people who enjoy the good life went to Kigali to cheer for their teams.

Teams played against each other, and the famous Nshera team won. They won the Ntare Lions League for the third time! They beat TY Omujuma in a penalty shootout.

But here’s something unexpected: Rugby fans are joining in on the celebration. The Pirates Rugby Club will celebrate Nshera’s win at Kings Park Arena this weekend. Before that, there’s a big rugby match between the Stanbic Black Pirates and the Walukuba Barbarians. The Barbarians have been improving in the league a lot this lately, so the Pirates can’t underestimate them.

Coach Leonard’s team wants to bounce back after losing to Platinum Credit Heathens last weekend. They lost 17-21 in their home ground in Jinja.

Meanwhile, the Stanbic Black Pirates want to win more games. They lost some games they should have won, like against the newly promoted Eagles Rugby Club.

On game day, there will be rugby action and fun activities for Pirates fans. And Nshera’s victory will add to the excitement.
