The KCCA Ladies Volleyball Club are bracing for an action-packed weekend as they gear up to take on tough adversaries in the national league.
Coach Sheila Omuriwe has shed light on the hurdles they face in defending their title, stressing the significance of offering mental support to the players amidst the intense pressure surrounding the matches.
With a record of four victories and one loss in the second round of the national league, KCCA has displayed commendable performance.
Nevertheless, Coach Sheila has underscored the pivotal nature of the upcoming weekend clashes against UPDF and the UCU Doves in determining their final position in the league standings.
Currently in the third spot on the leaderboard, KCCA trails behind KCB-Nkumba by three points, with the latter having played two more games. A triumph this weekend could mount pressure on the current frontrunners, Ndejje.
KCCA also have a number of players sidelined due to injuries, providing an additional challenge for them as they strive for victory in their forthcoming matches.
