Gulu City celebrated their first victory in the 2024 National Ludo Super League with a commanding 4-0 triumph over Nansana All-Stars on their home turf. The resounding win not only marked Gulu’s first three points of the season but also propelled them to the eighth spot on the league table, following two initial defeats.
Meanwhile, Nansana All-Stars’ unfortunate streak continues as they plummet to the bottom of the standings after suffering losses in all their matches thus far.
In other Matchday 3 fixtures, Bulemeezi and Ntinda United battled to a 2-2 draw, maintaining Bulemeezi’s position in second place with five points, while Ntinda United secured the seventh spot with four points.
Najjemba and Buloba A shared the spoils in another 2-2 draw, causing Najjemba to slip to ninth place with two points, while Buloba A climbed to third place with five points.
A similar outcome ensued in the clash between Kazo Hill and Kiboga Young, as both teams settled for a 2-2 draw. This result saw Kazo Hill descend to fourth place with five points, while Kiboga Young ascended to the summit of the standings, albeit tied on points with a superior goal difference.
The defending champions, Nakawa Market, and Masaka Giants, also failed to clinch a victory as they ended their encounter in a 2-2 stalemate. Nakawa Market now occupies the fifth spot with five points, while Masaka Giants maintain their sixth position with four points.
As the league action resumes on Sunday, April 7th, Ntinda United will face off against Masaka Giants, Kiboga Young will host Nakawa Market, Buloba A will welcome Kazo Hill, Gulu City will host Najjemba, and Bulemeezi will entertain Nansana All-Stars.
