As the 2024 season of the National Basketball League (NBL) gears up for its highly anticipated second round, KIU Titans’ forward Edgar Munaba is optimistic for better days ahead.
Speaking to club media after the conclusion of the first round, Munaba lauded his teammates for their stellar performance in the first round, highlighting their cohesive teamwork and efficient ball movement as key factors in their success.
“I feel happy to end the first round this way. All the credit to my teammates for playing as a team, playing for one another and moving the ball very well,” Munaba remarked.
With the first round behind them, Munaba reflected on the team’s overall performance, expressing satisfaction with their results thus far.
“I must say, the first round has been fair for us. We have lost only three games and won the rest. Our goal is to get even better in the second round,” he stated.
The KIU Titans currently occupy the third position on the standings with 19 points, just two points behind leaders City Oilers, with an impressive record of eight wins and three losses.
Looking ahead, the Titans are set to kick off the second round with a clash against UCU Canons a9 pmpm on Friday.
