East Africa Regional Table Tennis Championships Commence in Uganda

Monday April 22nd marked the start of the 2024 East Africa Regional Table Tennis Championships at the MTN Arena in Lugogo.

With seven countries participating and 64 players already in attendance, the stage is set for an exhilarating display of talent and skill.

Robert Jagwe, the President of the Uganda Table Tennis Association, has confirmed the participating countries, which include Uganda, Kenya, Mauritius, Madagascar, Eritrea, Djibouti, and Sudan.

Representing Uganda in the men’s team are Sebatindira Joseph, Senyonga Jonathan, Ankunda Samuel, Achuma Benjamin, and Nsereko Sharif.

The women’s team comprises Nakawala Jemimah, Nekesa Irene, Nangonzi Judith, Nasirumbi Patra, and Namala Shanitah.

The tournament scheduled to continue until Thursday, April 25th, 2024 with the Women’s final at 7:00 PM, followed by the Men’s final at 7:30 PM.
