Dates Confirmed For 2024 Safari 7s as Nairobi Prepares for Rugby Extravaganza

The dates for the 2024 Safari 7s have been officially confirmed, marking the annual rugby sevens tournament’s return to Nairobi’s vibrant sporting scene. Scheduled to take place from 11th to 13th October, the event promises a thrilling showcase of rugby prowess and camaraderie.

In the women’s category, Uganda’s formidable Women’s Rugby National Team, The Lady Rugby Cranes, stands as the defending champions, having clinched the coveted Gold in the previous edition. Their triumph was punctuated by the stellar performance of Lekuru Peace, who emerged as both the top try scorer and the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP).
