The Hopes team, set to represent Uganda at the Africa Continental Hopes Week and Challenge in Botswana this July, has been outfitted with brand new rubbers. This strategic upgrade aims to enhance their performance against top-tier global competition.
World Table Tennis Champion, Sir Joseph Ssebatindira has already begun utilizing the new rubbers in preparation for the Europe WTT Championships.
“Our decision to provide Sir Joseph and our team with brand new rubbers underscores our commitment to ensuring they compete on equal footing with the best in the world,” said Robert Jjagwe, the President of Uganda Table Tennis Association.
“Our World Champion deserves nothing less than the best equipment to succeed at these WTT Championships,” he added.
Sir Joseph Ssebatindira will represent Africa in the World Table Tennis Youth Championships in Poland, Norway, and Sweden.
