KIU Titans shooting guard Zuri Campbell emphasized the importance of building team chemistry as he integrates into his new club. The American player made his debut in a commanding 106-53 victory over Ndejje Angels on Wednesday, contributing 13 points and 5 rebounds.
In an interview with the club’s media team, Campbell highlighted his efforts to adapt swiftly to the team’s dynamics.
“I’ve been mainly working on the team chemistry,” Campbell said. “I definitely could have done better against Ndejje Angels, but this is a good start overall,” he added.
Campbell also expressed gratitude for the warm reception from his teammates.
“My teammates have treated me like family and given me the necessary support to settle in quickly,” he said.
The KIU Titans are set to face the JT Jaguars in the final game of Gameweek 17 on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Lugogo Indoor Arena.
